We are a locally owned and operated computer store serving the needs of our customers in the greater Oroville California market area. We are not a chain store and therefore not limited to what a corporate office in some other part of the state or nation, decides what products we carry and service.

The Owner, Gary Norwood, has lived the Butte county since 1981. Gary has been in management with several different companies in the local area most of that time. When he graduated from high school, Gary, had 2 years of computer related studies accredited to his educational portfolio. He has continued to gain knowledge in the computer field thru his employment since then. He brings to Comp-U-Bytes his Management expertise as well as his working knowledge of computers. Gary is also a avid on line gamer and loves to discuss his on line gaming adventures and strategies.

Chris Roberts, Manager and Lead Computer Repair Technician, who was born and raised in Chico, graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 2002. Chris has attended Butte Community College where he has earned his A+ Computer Repair credentials. Chris has been employed by a local radio station as their Computer Network Technician sine he graduated from high school. While there here he learned how to maintain a large are network as well as maintain the company's computers, servers, radio transmitters and remote broadcasting equipment. Chris is also a very talented electric guitar player. He has been a member of several different local bands and loves to hear about new groups and musical opportunities.
